Kubik Rubik Formula: Learn the Algorithms and Notations to Master the Cube

How to Solve a Kubik Rubik Formula

The Rubik's Cube, also known as the Kubik Rubik in some languages, is one of the most iconic and popular puzzles in the world. It consists of a 3x3x3 cube with six faces, each divided into nine smaller squares of one of six colors: white, yellow, red, orange, blue, and green. The goal is to twist and turn the cube until each face has only one color.

Solving a Rubik's Cube can be a fun and rewarding activity that can improve your memory, concentration, logic, and spatial awareness. It can also boost your confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Whether you want to impress your friends, challenge yourself, or just have some fun, learning how to solve a Rubik's Cube can be a great hobby.

However, solving a Rubik's Cube can also be very frustrating and daunting for beginners. With more than 43 quintillion possible combinations, it can seem impossible to find the right moves to solve the cube. That's why you need to know some formulas, or algorithms, that can help you manipulate the cube in an efficient and systematic way.

In this article, we will show you how to solve a Rubik's Cube step by step using a simple and easy method that anyone can learn. We will also give you some tips and tricks for solving a Rubik's Cube faster and easier. By following this guide, you will be able to solve a Rubik's Cube in no time.

How to Solve a Rubik's Cube Step by Step

The method we will use to solve a Rubik's Cube is based on solving one layer at a time, starting from the bottom layer and moving up to the top layer. This method has seven steps, each with its own set of algorithms that you need to memorize and execute. Don't worry if it sounds complicated at first; once you get the hang of it, it will become second nature.

Before we start, we need to introduce some basic terminology and notation that will help us describe the cube and its movements. A face is one of the six sides of the cube. A center is one of the six middle squares on each face that does not move. An edge is one of the twelve pieces that has two stickers of different colors. A corner is one of the eight pieces that has three stickers of different colors.

We will use letters to denote each face of the cube as follows: F for front, B for back, U for up, D for down, L for left, and R for right. We will also use apostrophes (') to indicate counterclockwise turns and numbers (2) to indicate double turns. For example, F means turn the front face clockwise by 90 degrees; F' means turn it counterclockwise by 90 degrees; F2 means turn it twice by 180 degrees.

<p. Step 1: Make a white cross on the bottom layer

The first step is to make a white cross on the bottom layer of the cube. To do this, you need to match the white edges with the centers of the same color on the side faces. For example, if you have a white and red edge, you need to place it between the white center and the red center.

To move the white edges to the bottom layer, you can use the following algorithm: F D F'. This means turn the front face clockwise, then the down face clockwise, then the front face counterclockwise. This will move the edge from the top layer to the bottom layer without disturbing the other pieces. You can also use the inverse algorithm: F' D' F to move the edge from the bottom layer to the top layer.

Repeat this algorithm for each white edge until you have a white cross on the bottom layer. It doesn't matter if the white corners are not in place yet; we will deal with them in the next step. The important thing is to have a white cross that matches with the side centers.

Step 2: Complete the first layer by inserting the white corners

The next step is to complete the first layer by inserting the white corners into their correct positions. To do this, you need to find the white corners on the top layer and move them to the bottom layer, matching them with the edges and centers of the same colors. For example, if you have a white, red, and blue corner, you need to place it between the white, red, and blue faces.

To insert a white corner from the top layer to the bottom layer, you can use one of these two algorithms: R' D' R D or L D L' D'. The first one is for when the corner is on the right side of the top layer, and the second one is for when it is on the left side of the top layer. These algorithms will move the corner from the top layer to the bottom layer without disturbing the other pieces.

Repeat this algorithm for each white corner until you have completed the first layer. You should now have a solid white face on the bottom layer and a matching ring of colors on the side faces. Step 3: Solve the middle layer by inserting the edges

The third step is to solve the middle layer by inserting the edges into their correct positions. To do this, you need to find the edges on the top layer that do not have yellow stickers and move them to the middle layer, matching them with the centers of the same colors. For example, if you have a red and blue edge, you need to place it between the red and blue faces.

To insert an edge from the top layer to the middle layer, you can use one of these two algorithms: U R U' R' U' F' U F or U' L' U L U F U' F'. The first one is for when the edge is on the right side of the top layer, and the second one is for when it is on the left side of the top layer. These algorithms will move the edge from the top layer to the middle layer without disturbing the other pieces.

Repeat this algorithm for each edge until you have solved the middle layer. You should now have two solid layers on the bottom and middle of the cube and a yellow cross on the top layer.

Step 4: Make a yellow cross on the top layer

The fourth step is to make a yellow cross on the top layer of the cube. To do this, you need to orient the yellow edges so that they form a cross shape. You may already have a yellow cross, or you may have one of these three cases: a dot, an L-shape, or a line.

To make a yellow cross from any of these cases, you can use this algorithm: F R U R' U' F'. This means turn the front face clockwise, then the right face clockwise, then the up face clockwise, then the right face counterclockwise, then the up face counterclockwise, then the front face counterclockwise. This will change the shape of the yellow edges without affecting the other pieces.

Repeat this algorithm until you have a yellow cross on the top layer. It doesn't matter if the yellow edges are not aligned with the side centers yet; we will deal with them in the next step. The important thing is to have a yellow cross on the top layer. Step 5: Orient the last layer corners

The fifth step is to orient the last layer corners so that they have yellow stickers on the top face. To do this, you need to rotate the corners until they are in the right orientation. You may already have all the corners oriented, or you may have one of these four cases: none, one, two, or three.

To orient the last layer corners from any of these cases, you can use this algorithm: R' D' R D. This means turn the right face counterclockwise, then the down face counterclockwise, then the right face clockwise, then the down face clockwise. This will change the orientation of the corners without affecting the other pieces.

Repeat this algorithm until you have all the corners oriented. It doesn't matter if the yellow corners are not in the right positions yet; we will deal with them in the next step. The important thing is to have all the corners with yellow stickers on the top face.

Step 6: Permute the last layer edges

The sixth step is to permute the last layer edges so that they are in the right positions. To do this,
